Cardinal Defense
Project Background
The Mission:
New England is a hub for many aerospace and defense companies developing jet engines, nuclear submarines, and helicopters. These companies seek to advance their manufacturing and production technology far into the 21st century, utilizing state-of-the-art techniques such as 3D modeling, additive manufacturing, lean processes, and virtual
and augmented reality. Each team will develop a start-up (business) responsible for bringing a new helicopter to market in 4 short months. Each team will use 3D modeling, blueprinting, virtual assembly, 3D printing, lean processes, and VR/AR environments to bring their product to life…
Cardinal Defense will use CAD, 3D printing, and virtual assembly to create an innovative single-defined turbine helicopter that will be brought to the market by June 1st 2021. Low cost, reliable helicopter, increased market share; kits available easy conversion for search and rescue and military use, to include a kit for gun mounts for each side and kelvar bullet proof windshield.
